Facial Vein Teatment – Iriderm Laser

Facial vein treatments with the Iriderm Laser can safely and effectively remove dilated veins and red blemishes on the face and neck. Some pigment spots may also be removed with this laser. The treatment of facial veins will depend on the area to be treated. Small red spots will usually disappear after one treatment. For larger areas, more than one treatment may be required. These can be arranged approximately two months apart. Anesthesia is not required and there is no down time.

Leg & Spider Vein Treatment – Lyra Laser & Sclerotherapy

Spider Veins are small red, blue and purple blood vessels that appear most frequently on the face and thighs. Dr Salmon provides two procedures for their effective treatment, plus leg vein treatments are also provided.

Lyra Laser

The Lyra Laser provides safe and effective non-surgical treatment for the removal of spider veins. It delivers a precise dosage of light energy in a series of brief pulses to each targeted vein. The energy is absorbed by the vein causing coagulation of the blood vessel, which is then absorbed into your body. To allow for the best possible results it may be necessary to wear compression pantyhose for two weeks after the treatment. This will help keep the treated veins closed. Most veins will disappear in two to six weeks. It is important to avoid hot baths and strenuous exercise during the recovery period. The number of treatments can vary between one and four treatments in three or four week intervals.
