I was prompted into surgery as my skin looked great but my neck let me down and aged me tremendously.
The procedure was a very long day in theatre but Dr Paul Salmon and his staff were so caring and kind they ensured I was as comfortable as possible. As I am not a suitable candidate for a general anaesthetic (due to other health issues) I was initially tentative at being awake during the procedure but with the benefit of hindsight (20/20 vision) I would not have it any other way.
I knew I was in safe hands and the result was going to be worth it as Dr Paul is the best.
And I have to say the results have exceeded my expectations. The recovery wasn’t too big a deal – I followed the instructions and I had every confidence in Dr Paul Salmon and his team.
The response from my family and friends was that I was looking really, really good. Obviously no one knew what I had had done and no one picked it!
Dr Paul Salmon is an icon to me. He is one of my favourite people. He has changed my life!

I had been conscious of ‘sagging’ around my mouth and neck for some years.
I had lost a lot of weight and it really showed on my face – it had gone so wrinkly.
My husband and family thought I looked just fine - but my daughter said she was sick of hearing about it and dared me to do something instead of just talking and complaining.
Every time I glanced in the mirror when I was relaxed I was “gob smacked” at how aged I looked. The saggy appearance of my skin was ok when I was smiling and talking but when I was relaxed I hated it.
I have known Dr Paul Salmon for some years as an absolute perfectionist.
I was lucky enough to have a friend who worked for him so had inside knowledge on just how good he actually was.
When Dr Paul suggested he could fix the problem for me I jumped at the chance!
I also sought a second opinion. Without doubt Dr Paul’s price and procedure results shone through as the only place for me to go.
I didn’t actually feel nervous before the facelift. I felt relieved I had made a positive decision to change what I did not like.
The procedure itself was long, although I had no sense of it – it just went really quickly. There were some very different sensations and noises but nothing I couldn’t cope with – it was all pretty easy.
The period after the operation was initially difficult – not due to pain but because I looked so different and could see the look in my husband’s eyes expressing “what have you done!” I certainly wondered if I would ever look the same again!
After 4 days I actually felt wonderful and I could see I looked a zillion times better!
Dr Paul Salmon was amazing –he even arranged for one of his nurses to come and remove my dressings and sutures at home as these optimum times fell over a public holiday – such is his attention to detail – there is only one way for him to do things PERFECTLY!
I am thrilled family and friends comment on how stunning I look now.
Just as a wee note – I was advised to change my hairstyle at the same time. So this gave me something to attribute to the stunning new look and the radical loss of years!
I look 15 years younger without doubt and feel a million dollars.
I did feel guilty at spending that much money but it was worth every cent.
Dr Paul Salmon was encouraging and really, really nice and his staff are wonderful.
My result is so nice and natural I now have chin definition.
