Mohs Fellowship Position Available 2020/2021

Position available in 2020/2021 with prominent, progressive, multi-physician dermatology, Mohs Surgery and Cosmetic Surgery clinic located in the beautiful city of Tauranga, New Zealand.

The Skin Centre has an established, busy referral base. Facilities include new, purpose built rooms including seven fully equipped day stay theatres and a beautiful cosmetic clinic.

The teaching faculty are Director,  Dr Paul Salmon BHB MbChB FRAC and Dr Neil Mortimer MBBS, FRACP, MRCP, FACMS.

The SkinCentre is seeking to appoint a Dermatologist with specialist qualification to a 2 year American Mohs College accredited Fellowship. There will be a broad range of teaching in addition to Mohs surgery including other dermatologic and cosmetic surgery/procedures. These include but are not limited to lipo-sculpture, blepharoplasty,  facelift,fat transfer, hair transplant etc.

The applicant must possess the ability to work cooperatively in a team environment with patients, staff and colleagues alike.

Tauranga City has a population of 128,000. It adjoins the golden beaches of Mt Maunganui and is within easy reach of snowfields, yet enjoys a temperate climate. A position for a General Dermatologist has become available within a prominent, progressive, multi disciplinary dermatology group practice located in the beautiful city of Nelson,  New Zealand.

There is the option that this could be a one to two year contract and the work includes mostly private dermatology with a collegial relationship with Skin Centre doctors across the country. The position is negotiable from 5/10ths to 10/10ths

Skin Centre consultants include Dr Paul Salmon, Dr Neil Mortimer, Dr Sandra Winhoven and  Dr Susan Simpkin, who together provide a comprehensive dermatology service.

The Skin Centre has an established, busy referral base. Facilities include purpose built consulting rooms including fully equipped day stay theatres. Services provided at the Skin Centre include Phototherapy, Patch Testing and Digital Dermoscopy, advanced dermatologic surgery and Mohs Micrographic Surgery.
